A New Chapter Begins

Richard Sven Shelgren has been named Festival Director, and Theodore Melfi has been appointed Artistic Director, bringing a combined depth of industry experience to one of Southern California’s most celebrated independent film festivals.

The Ojai Film Festival is a nonprofit organization. Every gift goes to the festival and its year-round programs.

As one of the City of Ojai’s premier cultural events, the Festival regularly attracts 2,000 people to its six days of films, informational seminars and presentations, and parties. Held the first weekend in November each year, OFF has steadily grown since its inception in 2000.
